![]() There are links to patches and setup notes on the gog.com site for these games. Infinity Engine games (Baldur's gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment) run pretty well but there is a problem on modern Windows with DirectDraw rendering that require 3rd party wrappers to work well. Skyrim actually runs pretty well with the original HiAlgo Boost mod. ![]() Only a couple areas give problems, though that's related to the grass rendering which can be turned down when needed. Oblivion runs pretty well with the Stutter remover to cap the FPS at 30 so it looks consistent though this isn't necessary. Medieval II: Total War has a free demo but I haven't tried it. I have an 8 GB RAM, 2.5 GHz i3, Intel HD 4000 laptop and Total War Rome (yes, the first one) runs like absolute garbage. Not kidding, the game has some weird bug that totally doesn't work with Intel based chips. Definitely NOT Total War Rome (yes, the first one)
